GBPA Launches New Letter Campaign

The Georgian Bay Preservation Alliance is pleased to share a new letter campaign calling for a long-term regulatory solution for floating accommodations.
Floating vessels are navigational hazards that are a problem for boaters and other outdoor recreationists when they clog up waterways. This hazard, combined with the risk of wastewater dumping, shows the need for action to regulate floating homes as quickly as possible.
The GBPA is advocating for regulations that are clear and fair but can only be applied once Transport Canada removes the Vessel classification for float homes based in Ontario.
Let the federal government know that it’s time to protect our environmental heritage and preserve Georgian Bay! Send a letter here: https://www.preservegeorgianbay.org/float_homes_not_vessels.
